Some quick words on our wine making... It all starts in the vineyard as they say. That is true. Our philosophy and goal is to make singular wines that are an honest and accurate reflection of their time and place of origin. Most often we bottle wines from a single vineyard and vintage, but we also take great pleasure in creating multi varietal and even multi vintage blends to create wines that would not otherwise possible any other way. Our wine making process has it's roots in the old world. Fermentation in small open top vessels with indigenous and cultured yeast strains. Punchdowns by hand. Basket pressing straight to barrel where the wines age until being bottled. Once in the bottle we further age the wines until we feel they are ready to drink before we release them.
